Kevin M. Mattessich is managing partner of the New York office. Mr. Mattessich concentrates his practice in commericial litigation and he has defended companies and their directors and officers in a variety of contexts ranging from the defense of companies in management disputes, engineers sued in mine development suits, stock brokerages and investment advisers and other contexts. In addition, Kevin maintains an active insurance coverage analysis and litigation practice in which he has represented clients all over the globe. Internationally recognized for his experience with investigating and litigating fidelity and fraud related claims, including matters involving Ponzi schemes, securities act violations, cyber risks, commodities and foreign exchange losses, insider trading, D&O liability, and other corporate exposures. Kevin has also been retained to analyse and arbitrate major claims submitted under R&W and other transactional risk policies.


Previously, Kevin served as a Trial Attorney in the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice where he prosecuted white-collar fraud cases. He has testified before the Judiciary Committee of the U.S. Senate on health care fraud issues, and he has spoken at numerous seminars on litigation and insurance related issues.

Mr. Mattessich is actively involved in the community affairs of his hometown of Ridgewood, New Jersey.

Navine Aggarwal
Executive Vice President
Head of M&A Insurance

Navine Aggarwal is the Global Head of Ethos M&A Insurance which is an MGA that writes Representations & Warranties, Tax and Contingent policies. Prior to joining Ethos, Navine was the Head of Ironshore’s Americas M&A team where he was responsible for building the Americas platform and overseeing underwriting and production for the region. Navine also spent over three years in Allied World’s North American M&A insurance team. Navine’s experience prior to working in the insurance industry included practicing law in Ropes & Gray’s Private Equity M&A Group in New York and began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Macquarie, specializing in infrastructure. Navine earned Masters of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from York University’s Schulich School of Business.

Nancy M. Reimer
Freeman Mathis & Gary

Nancy Reimer is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary's Boston office. She is Chairperson of the Firm's Professional Liability/Errors & Omissions, and Chair of Accountants Liability National Practice Team. 

Ms. Reimer focuses on a wide range of complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, including trials and appeals, alternative dispute venues, grand jury proceedings, state and federal investigations, and SEC investigations. She also appears before professional licensing and disciplinary boards. She devotes the majority of her practice to the defense of professional malpractice claims against accountants, attorneys, financial advisors, securities brokers and other professionals, as well as breach of fiduciary duty claims and claims against directors and officers of corporations. She also counsels clients in prevention techniques for avoiding litigation and other risk exposures. 

Ms. Reimer has represented national, regional and small accounting firms in connection with a variety of claims brought by clients and client successors, including trustees and liquidators in connection with claims involving employee defalcations, going concern disclosures, revenue recognition issues, valuations, accounting for tax liabilities, internal controls issues, balance sheet presentation issues, and wills and trust issues. She is often quoted in leading publications including, the National Law Journal, Accounting Today and The Journal of Accountancy
